Easy Crochet Ear-Warmer Free Crochet pattern and tutorial

The printed pattern comes in three sizes, Child, Teen/Adult and Adult. This crochet pattern is Adult size and written in American English crochet terms.

NOTES:
- Turning chain does NOT count as a stich.
- Ear Warmers are very stretchy, so sizing may differ slightly to pattern numbers.
Abbreviations:
st = stitch
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
hdc = half double crochet
hdcBLO = half double crochet back loop only
Materials:
- Super bulky (6) yarn, Adult: 52yds/90g
- L (8.00MM) crochet hook
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- 2 one inch buttons
Gauge Pattern: Ch 11Row 1. hdc into 3rd ch from hook and each ch, ch 2 turn (9sts) Row 2-5. hdcBLO into each st, ch 2 turn(9sts)
About 4×4”
Circumferences: Adult 21” long fits 22-23”.

To Begin:
Chain 44

Row 1. hdc into 3rd ch from hook and each chain, ch 2 turn (42 st)

Row 2. hdcBLO into each st, ch 2 turn (42 st)

Rows 3- 7 Repeat row 2. Fasten off.
Reminder: chain 2 does NOT count as a stitch in this pattern.

Place buttons on one end of work where you wish them to stay. Using yarn needle sew them on. Line up the other end of the work and push the buttons through a space in the stitches to secure. Weave in ends.
