How to Crochet the Shells of One Color Shawl

By Jonna February 18, 2021 2 min read

This shawl is so much fun to crochet!

Now that I have the Shells Of-One Color Blanket and Shells Of-One Color Blanket Rectangle, I have added this Shells Of-One Color Shawl. It uses only two repeating rows and works up very fast.

Don’t let the “one color” stop you from making this shawl as many colors as you like. Personally I love using a multi colored yarn or ombre for this pattern.

For this shawl I tried this Lion Brand Mandala yarn in color-way CHI. This yarn is BUTTER soft. I was very pleased working it up. I look forward to making more projects in this yarn, as well as trying other colors.

This stitch is really fun to work with and you can make more than just shawls with it. There’s a pattern for a poncho with a hood.
