How To Make My Autumn Inspired Pot Holders

In my newest tutorial I will teach you how I crochet these beautiful hot pads or pot holders. They are really fun to make and I made a lot of them! They are a great introduction to tapestry crochet. I love how you can easily play with color on these smaller projects. I feel like these gold, brown and green one looks like a sunflower, What do you think? For my pot holders I made them double thick. The original pattern you only make one, but I found them to be too thin, so I made two potholders and single crocheted them together. I find the thickness to be much better. Make a few of these potholders and decide for yourself! You could even have different colors on each side!
